Historic Fernandina Beach
Residents of Fernandina Beach (just north of Jacksonville) have preserved over 400 residential, commercial and public buildings from the mid and late 1800’s. The Palace Saloon on Centre Street.

Standing proud: The First Missionary Baptist Church built in 1873. The still active church was originally founded in 1860 by enslaved individuals.
The Nassau County Courthouse, built in 1891 with red brick and clocktower steeple, is considered the Crown Jewel of Centre Street.
