A few charming “Wild and Wondrous” Old Florida memories: Ocala Horse Farms, Sebring Races, Cocoa Beach Surfing, Paynes Prairie Camping; Micanopy Antique Shopping; Weeki Wachee Springs Swims, Silver Springs; Christmas Roadside Attractions, Cross Creek History, Fellesmere Birding, Titusville Airboating, Port Salerno Seafood. To create these photos, Scale model cars were placed on hand-made dioramas and photographed on the actual locations. The photography technique is called “forced perspective” and is used to make small objects look full size. The photos are part of an upcoming book on Florida Road Trips in the 1960’s.
